Vikings Set Sail for New Home
The Minnesota Vikings have agreed with Anoka County to build a $675 million retractable-roof stadium just outside Minneapolis.
Vikings owner Wilf made the announcement on Tuesday in Blaine, which is near the stadium;s location.
Wilf bought the Vikings for $600 million in June and stated that he wanted to build a new outdoor stadium to replace the Metrodome.
Nearly $400 million is likely to be gleaned from taxpayers with the Vikings chipping in $275 million.
